Too bad our leading rusher from last year isn't available.

Maybe Denver will trade for him. I think he is on someone's bench somewhere.

If true I dont think this hurts as much since we have Booker, hopefully one of the bibbs/thompson of the world can step up and spell the rookie when needed, but Booker reminds me of Fred Taylor who was a beast in his prime, they have very similar styles.

Nah jano has to stay at fullback, this dude is blocking his ass off, opening up massive holes on hard crunching blocks that linebackers and safeties will grow tired of taking as the game goes on. Can't afford to lose our fullback by using him as a full-time runner.

Spiller would be a solid pick up, id give spiller a shot, he could be a change of pace from bookers very physically draining style of running on defenses.

Chances are CJ doesn't play that whole contract out, there's a reason to me that elway immediately drafts Booker. CJ probably did more damage by continuing to play on the knee the last 3 quarters, but he obviously smelled Booker coming for that spot so he rolled the rice and crapped out apparently.

    That's a real bummer.

    Brutal and truly devastating news.

CJ gets better as the season goes along and looked to be rounding into that form again based off his performance versus the Texans. Where he is often criminally underrated is just how incredibly effective out of the backfield and in pass protection he is. A great blocker who is able to identify and pick up rushers very well.

    This just blows.

Unfortunately it's kinda the norm for him. Dude just can't stay healthy. Hopefully booker can carry the load because we desperately need it now.
