Well, a thorough asskicking at home where you have to look hard for positivity. Worst loss since the Raiders last season.
Can't win them all.
Only ones to blame is the oline and a QB who isn't quite ready who was made worse by the awful oline. A little bit of the blame also goes to the offensive gameplan (pretty vanilla stuff), but the oline wasn't giving them much to work with anyway.
Hope Stephenson, Green, and Trevor are ready to go Thursday.
If you put the defensive play in context, they played very well.
To the number one offense in the league, they gave up the one long TD early, and then played very well, with the offense giving them no breathers. They didn't give up another TD until they were caught with a short field after the bad punt return job (or lack of return) and Lynch INT. Other than the short field TD following Lynch's TD, the Broncos held the Falcons to FGs after that opening TD drive.
This loss was 100% on the shoulders of the offense (mostly Lynch and right side of line) and kick return unit.
