They didn't give up another TD until they were caught with a short field after the bad punt return job (or lack of return) and Lynch INT. Other than the short field TD following Lynch's TD, the Broncos held the Falcons to FGs after that opening TD drive.

This loss was 100% on the shoulders of the offense (mostly Lynch and right side of line) and kick return unit.
I think the LBs had a subpar game and deserve a share in the blame.

And the officiating. Don't forget that one bad call.

You're wrong, but I'll blame it on the beers and how hard we all take losses.

I'm glad you admitted that going for 4th and 1 isn't aggressive though, it's so annoying when people act like kicking is the safe play.

No sir, only passing every down is being aggressive, but only if it's done from Shitgun.

Well, I don't think I am wrong, even with the beers. 4th and 1, up by two scores gave us a higher probability of coming back to tie (although still unlikely) by going for it rather than kicking, when the opposing offense is playing like shit and working against the clock.

But that's just like, my opinion.

Wasn't meant to be political, I have a guy who lives down the street named Jeb bush. That guy is a valium addict.

    Point taken.

I agree for the most part, but our identity is our defense, and they had a subpar game for their standards. Giving up nearly 400 yards is not good, and they looked helpless against Atlanta's running backs.

Again, not to be an ass hole, but...the defense got beat by an antiquated offense today.

If you miss a 50 yard FG, you've given your opponent better field position. But, beyond that, it's all about playing keep away. If they converted, then they closed out the game and there is no chance of a miracle comeback.

Specifically, Nelson seemed to routinely be called on to cover the RBs in passing downs and couldn't.
