Weve got this. Broncos rout the Falcons
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Paxton Lynch will be without starting RT Donald Stephenson for his 1st start. Close to coming back from calf injury though.

The worry is how well our offense moves the ball and responds with Lynch at the helm. Everyone this week has been worried about what happens if Lynch plays well, i.e. QB controversy. I'm more worried about what happens if Lynch doesn't play well. I'm not worried about the long-term either way, but I have a feeling fans won't react well if Lynch plays like a rookie getting his first start. .. . and he is a rookie getting his first start. Expectations regarding him seem unrealistic imo.
    I'm worried about this possibility.

More interested to see how we handle Freeman and Coleman to be honest, that's going to be the biggest factor I think. Julio might make a play or two, but I don't expect him to take over the game by any stretch.

Curious where these expectations are coming from.......BRONCO fans and their infatuation with the laser rocket arm. I just hope Paxton plays smart, and minimal turnovers.

Our inactive list - oof. I was hoping some of these guys would play:

Siemian, Ware, Stephenson, Green, Simmons, Webster, McGovern

I think Gary puts in a run heavy game plan and asks the rest of the offense to step it up and protect the rookie. The team will respond, CJ will have a big day, the play action bootleg will get us a TD at some point, and Paxton will be the X factor at some point running for a first. I think we see dink and dunk but some great RAC yardage with how bad the Falcons D is.

    Broncos win 30-16

I think the key will be keeping Atlanta off the field, and in return keeping our defense fresh! We're due for a good day of running the ball

Everyone thought Kubes would do the same thing in Siemian's first start and we came out passing on the first 7 plays. Same when Lynch came in last week, he came out passing early. Atlanta has one of the worst pass defenses in football so I expect Kubes to try to take advantage of that early.

If Kubiak didn't have confidence in Lynchs passing game he wouldn't have been playing him today. He sees what we don't get to see every day in practice going up against the leagues best defense. There is a reason that Lynch is starting today. Siemian is hurt, I get that, but I fully believe Paxton has the confidence of the coaches.

#Broncos Ware told me last week he hopes to begin light workouts this week with an eye on playing Oct. 24. It would be 5 weeks since injury

A lot of the local talk here has been that Trevor is not 100%, and Kubes is also looking ahead to the Thursday night game.

From Thursday till that Monday seems like an extra bye week or week of rest. The 24th seems like a good date for him to return.

    No le gusto.

I think we get our first taste of losing in a long while.

That's cool. It's been a long damn time.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling about this game. We seem due for a loss. Would love to be wrong, but this is going to be a tough game.
