Default Rob Ninkovich 'heartbroken' by four-game suspension

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots starting defensive end Rob Ninkovich will serve a four-game suspension to open the 2016 regular season after a positive test for a banned substance, and said he is devastated and shocked because he would never knowingly take an illegal substance.

"Few things are more important to me than my name and reputation. This might call that into question for some, which has me heartbroken," Ninkovich told ESPN. "I don't want to cut any corners. I want to do things the right way, with high integrity, and that's what I have always wanted to stand for."

A Patriot caught cheating? This is outlandish!
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

At this point in time, it is idiotic for ANY NFL player to purchase and/or take any supplement that has not been approved by the NFL/NFLPA because it is my understanding the NFL and/or the NFLPA test and certify several supplements as being "clean" and safe to be used by NFL players. I also believe that a player can bring in a supplement purchased over the counter from a store to his team's trainers/medical staff and they will have it tested to ensure the product doesn't contain any banned substances. Why each and every NFL player doesn't do one or both of those things before taking a supplement is beyond comprehension making it very hard, if not impossible, to believe any NFL player who claims they unknowingly and unwittingly took a supplement that contained a banned substance.
Too bad she doesn't cheer for the Patriots dressed like this
