Came across this bit that supports dislocation. Question is how bad anything else may have been affected.

I read that Vikings players were barfing and shit after it happened.

Bridgewater seems like a classy guy so this is a bummer.

Default Teddy Bridgewater suffers dislocated knee, torn ACL

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered a dislocated knee and torn ACL at practice Tuesday, the team announced in a release.

"After undergoing an MRI, it was determined that Teddy suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage," the statement read. "Fortunately, there appears to be no nerve or arterial damage. Surgical repair will be scheduled within the next few days.

"Although the recovery time will be significant, we expect Teddy to make a full recovery. I would like to thank all of the medical professionals and our athletic training staff for all of their help today. Teddy has already displayed the attitude needed to overcome this injury and attack his rehab."

Based on the reports, he seems pretty lucky that there was no nerve or artery damage. Could have been a career-ender.

His career is probably over. When the kneecap goes and it tears the ligament they can never recover fully. The same thing happened to Palmer. Everyone just remembers the 'acl tear' part of the injury, but it actually tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL. Bridgewater's mobility is probably never going to be the same. He will probably have to relearn his mechanics, too.

Bridgewater isn't Carson Palmer level and I'll doubt he''ll ever be. They should have signed Foles when they had a chance.

Vikings should go after Kaepernick or better yet trade us for Sanchez.

    This sounds familiar.

Turf? Does this bring back any memories?

Based on Carol's post/link he didn't. Good for him, that might have been worse.

Too bad for Teddy, he seemed to be improving a lot during this preseason.
