The Vikings' season might've just ended -- in late August, during practice, and less than two weeks before the season starts.

According to multiple reporters at Vikings practice, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down in the pocket with a non-contact left knee injury. The Vikings immediately stopped practice as trainers rushed to Bridgewater's aid. And his teammates began swearing and praying, according to reporters. Less than 10 minutes later, an ambulance showed up.

Here's how the St. Paul Pioneer Press' Brian Murphy described the scene, via Twitter:

Bad scene. Bridgewater down in pocket grabbing left knee. Players freaked out, swearing and praying. Immobilized. Practice halted.

Adrian Peterson, Matt Asiata and Adam Thielen locked arms in prayer huddled over prone Bridgewater, who clutched left knee and never moved.
I was 20 yards upfield on left sideline when Bridgewater dropped back. Didn't appear to be touched before he went down clutching left knee.

You could hear a pin drop on field as Bridgewater was tended do on ground -- silence only broken by several F-bombs players screamed.
