Nothing official from administration. He said in a press conference today that it is his understanding he will be evaluated at the end of the year.
He was asked to bring in assistants who run that spread/air raid which is so popular in the Big 12 and Texas high schools. Why do you hire a guy who hasn't run that system and ask him to bring in assistants he might not want just to do it?
Texas sucks and it's not because of Charlie Strong.

That's a surprise. On the ESPN app it said Strong's final game will be against TCU Friday. Though ESPN isn't very reliable anymore. A good friend of mine is a Texas fan. I think he's pretty relieved.

I'm worried about Boise's game against Air Force. Air Force isn't necessarily a very good team, but Boise always struggles with the triple option. Combine that with their 2 best linebackers out and I'm concerned

He also said he would use honesty with his players (believe that was the exact word) and if he feeds his players the same lines he was feeding the reporter, that's not honesty.
I suppose he could use the "well, I haven't talked to anyone" line when it's his agent who's having the conversations, but it's still not genuine IMO.
