Goes by vehicle value. It's a classic, even if needing a full restoration they go by some book value thing that determines the amount you owe. There is also a premium on vehicles that are smog exempt...

That was with my "Military exemption", it would've been like 80$ more per vehicle without it. I pay $15-20/yr per vehicle in Louisiana.
    I just paid $73 for a 1998 Mazda MPV...effing ripoff.

The # before the cowboy on the bucking bronco indicates what county the vehicle is registered in.

Sign of the times: When I first read this I read, "The hashtag before the Cowboy", I then looked up and thought, "oh, it must mean the number before the Cowboy."

These are all way better than the new OK one.

To honor the pioneers of prairie restoration, The Nature Conservancy will be introducing a bison-themed Oklahoma specialty license plate this fall! The public is invited to vote for their favorite of several bison-themed license plate designs from Aug 24 - Sept 7, 2016. The winning design will be announced on Sept. 12, 2016 and submitted to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. If approved, the plate will be available for pre-sell to the public for 180 days. If 500 plates are sold within that time-frame, then the plate will go into production. A portion of the proceeds from the plate will benefit the Conservancy’s conservation efforts in Oklahoma.
