I have to think he would have excelled at it. He was a rare athlete.

He hit .321/.440/.503 with 18 doubles and 10 home runs in 296 at bats in two years at Stanford. Had a 3/1 walk to strikeout ratio, which is pretty good. Then he hit .318/.432/.464 in A ball with four home runs in 151 at bats.

That's a profile that would be at the top of an organization's prospect list, especially if the power continued to develop.

Elway's problem was he kept urging the cut-off man to "go long"
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I know it's ok for guys to not have power, but with his size he should be able to accidentally clear the fence more than that.

Ultimately, just thought I would chime in. I'm not sure that you're wrong, though. Hold me.
I'm not saying he's gonna crack the big leagues. I just think he has impressive power

tebow went 3 for 4 yesterday.

All a matter of time before the Cardinals trade for him.

Then the plan for world domination is complete.

Between McCaffrey and Tebow, you're having quite a day.

He now has a .246 batting average, 5th on his team among players with at least 40 at bats. His 16 hits ties him for 2nd and 2 HRs ties him for 1st.

What do you think MO, is it time for Tebow to be promoted?
