Yes, which gives Theo even more credibility since he was the guy who came in and ended the drought, like he did in Boston. It must sting to hear the best GM in pro sports say that about your boy.

delusional is winning one year and thinking you are top of the pile after years of being trounced.

The cubbies and the sox. two organizations that have twice the payroll.

    But the best!?

I don't think you know who Theo Epstein even is.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Dude, I'm not talking about the Cubs. I'm talking about Theo. What he built in both Boston and now Chicago is incredible. I know you have to defend your boy but Jesus dude, you just lose more and more credibility when you say shit like this.

Shane logic: The Cubs were irrelevant for 100 years, so Theo winning a title there is unimpressive. Like, wut?

The Cardinals are one of the most profitable teams in MLB. They have the money to spend more. They're also in the top half of spending.

The Cubs and Sox have always had a ton of money to spend, but that didn't get them any titles until Theo got to each place.

As for your point on the A's, they have been a very relevant franchise for chunks of time in the last 30 years, so using your logic him winning there probably wouldn't be impressive either.
