Its weird because when I first heard about it I wasn't interested. The first teaser got my interest, but this new trailer has my attention! Just looks so different than other comic book movies which is what I think we need after InfinityWar and End Game perfected the more traditional type of comic book flick.

Trailer gives off a 70s slow-building Scorsese movie vibe and I'm all for that.

Excited for a different, nonformulaic superhero movie.

Early reviews are coming in. Strong 80+% on Rotten Tomatoes so far (though how they get that number is a stupid and always has been) and the movie seems to be a love it or hate it affair: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/joker_2019

From what I am reading, some people are seeing it as a reflection of the current state of affairs between societal dream crushing and not being able to find a place in the madness while others see it as part of the problem.

Suicide Squad was a mess but Harley was a fun character and Margot did her justice. Looking forward to this as a curiosity, especially since they got McGregor to play Black Mask:

There is a good movie in there somewhere where the Joker is the main antagonist and they don't fight a dancing mummy in front of a whirlwind of trash.

Yeah. Or just even the same movie with more visibility. Christ Almighty Waller's character should have come off more as the badass that she is.

Looks interesting but would have preferred just a stand a lone Harley Quinn movie. Love the hyena.
