    Because of the booty?

    Oh wait...womens volleyball too.

USA BB is ok too but not for the booty.

I don't care for the Olympics as most of the sports aren't exciting, the shallow patriotism is just that, shallow, and it's essentially just a big financial scam. It's outlived its purpose.

That cycling race was awesome. I didnt understand why after the crash why the 2nd group just stayed with eachother, and then only 2 cyclists out of the 6 or 7 in that group went to challenge the dude from Poland.

It was still a great race.

Substitute love of country for love or city or state, then you just described pro sports. Substitute with love of school, & you just described collage sports. From what I've been told, you might also be describing high school football in Texas.

As far as the original purpose of the Olympics when it was reborn in 1896, let’s just say we’d have to move to P & R to discuss that.

Love of city isn't quite the same thing, although there are some similarities. You can just like football and pick a team, but when you watch the Olympics I think it's mostly out of your country. I mean, there's not that many people who care about track and field, or swimming.

And what is wrong with that exactly? Just because they aren't mainstream sports we can't enjoy them ever 4 years and root on our country?

After what we just learned in the "what are you watching?" thread, you're feelings are bad and you should feel bad for having them!
