I was at the bar the other night with my buddy having some beers. We had been there a while when two large girls came up to the bar and ordered some drinks. I noticed when they ordered they both had strong accents so I said ‘Hi, are you two girls from Scotland?’ One of them spoke up, with quite an attitude and said ‘it’s WALES you idiot!!!’

So I immediately said ‘Sorry, are you two Whales from Scotland?’

Ireland and Sweden tied up 1-1 at the moment with 20 minutes of regulation left. Sadly for Ireland they actually gave Sweden their score by the Ireland player making a boneheaded mistake.

They do. I know the feeling well. Both of our teams need an enforcer or two. Arsenal is soft as well.

Hungary scored in the 63rd minute. 1-0 lead over Austria.

To make things worse for Austria they are now a man down due to one of their guys receiving a red card.

I have no idea how that guy from Hungary is still walking. His ankle got all kinds of twisted the wrong way. lol

And like that Hungary scores again in the 86th minute. 2-0 Hungary.

Wright Thompson on Cristiano Ronaldo. Amazing, as usual.

Well, Austria was favored and lost so Iceland has a chance if they can get by Portugal.

Great save by the Iceland goalie. Ronaldo put that pass right on the mark.
