We'll always be back-to-back world war champs, though.

US really has had a bad year, so this is no surprise. South America has too many good teams. We lack superstars and can't keep relying on Dempsey as our one weapon.

In the office there's a new guy who is a huge soccer fan and when I told him I was getting interested in the sport he told to not watch today.

We aren't terrible and will almost certainly qualify for the World Cup, but we are at best second-tier team.

I'm glad you're watching though. Soccer is awesome. And one good thing about the Central American/African immigrants coming in to the USA is hopefully we will have a bunch of really kickass soccer players in a few years.

We watched the game at a place called the view house in the dtc and suck me sideways it is cougar central. Never seen so many in one place, ever.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Still a chance for six points and a knockout round appearance.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Can we fire the freaking German now???
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Fire the players. They suck. Jurgen can only do so much with the talent he has. Until the US has more players playing in the European leagues on the regular, it's always going to be like this.

I'm not buying that anymore. Almost everyone on that starting eleven is/has played oversea at top level. The 4-3-3 decision was disaster and they looked unprepared and uninterested.

The 4-3-3 worked well in the last 2 friendlies. ...and some of those guys might have played overseas but they spent most of the time on the bench.

Tell me who you think on that roster is a good talent.

    John Brooks (Hertha Berlin),

    DeAndre Yedlin (Sunderland/Tottenham Hotspur)
    Bobby Wood (Hamburg SV)
    Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund)
    Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)

Others that off the team that should be on it:
    Jordan Morris (Forward Seattle)
Matt Miazga (Defender just signed by Chelsea)
