Noticed on a few of those sacks Von goes for the ball more than the sack. He's aiming to rip the ball out of the QBs hands rather than bring him down.

Yep the one against the Raiders and the one agInst the Panthers are the most noteable.

I'm not gonna lie, but watching those highlights made me smile as if the season had started already. I can't wait. Made me giddy.

Von and Watts are the NFLs 2 most dominant players.

I was really hoping that somehow we could have kept Trevathan. Von, Danny T, Marshall and Ware all together was a really special core of players.

It.would have been nice but I think Davis or Nelson are more than capable of taking over.

Capable of playing the same position, yes. As good as Trevathan, no.

    That's not what Phillips thinks.

We'll see how they turn out but I suspect it's going to be a dropoff in talent. Just my opinion but I am sure Wade knows best.

I hope that isn't the case. I liked Trevathan and would have loved for Denver to keep but he's an easier piece to replace than someone like Miller or Ware.

Hey, Trevathan came out of nowhere. Brandon Marshall came out of nowhere. Our Secondary is going to only get better (will be 2nd season the entire secondary crew will be together and Roby is going to improve).

That secondary (best in the NFL) along with those edge rushers (Ware & Miller) along with a run stuffing DL (up the middle), I'm pretty confident that any average or above average ILB could thrive on this defense. The key positions are filled, its just a matter of getting guys that can fill the gaps.

Zaire Anderson is on my radar.

He sacks Brady in the AFCCG the same way he sacks Cam in the SB. Except Cam is a big dude and keeps his feet, giving Von a chance to get the ball out. Brady goes down immediately or it might have been the same result.

Yeah on his first sack of Brady he tried that, but don't recall on the second sack.
