bullshit. . . no way the jets don't draft lynch if he's there. . .
Man, I kinda wish the entire draft was done in one sitting. I'm more looking forward to what we do in the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th, because those are the rounds I think we consider picking a QB (Cook, Hack, Prescott, and (can't think of their names)).
I miss the two day draft. Just getting the first round tonight is like going to a fancy restaurant and having them put one teeny bite of steak on a huge place and then serve it with a nice garnish. WHERE'S THE REST??
By the end of the weekend, though, we'll have a ton to talk about. For now: go Broncos. Go draft us some more winners, Elway.

But you can probably post the graphic that says "No, Denver! No!"Since this is like a game day thread, I feel compelled to write ... Go Broncos!
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
http://www.milehighreport.com/2016/4...terback-paxtonAccording to NFL Network's James Palmer who is located at Englewood Colorado at the Broncos practice facility says the team is "high on" quarterback Paxton Lynch. Palmer also says that the Broncos have Lynch rated higher than most other teams(He said that live, not in the video below).
No Dak Prescott!! In the 3rd, 4th, 7th, 20th or ever.

shefty says the boys and browns are trying to line up trades back into the end of the first. . . that would almost certainly be to jump in front of us for a QB. . . they might want to get ahead of KC and arizona as well. . .
A friend of our family Clint Brown got personally invited to Paxton Lynch draft party. He has some behind the scenes photos he posted that I thought are pretty cool. I don't beleive Lynch falls to 31 so we will need to trade.

only 5 more hours to go
For everyone who is bored, and just waiting for the Broncos pick - good article
rest - interesting to see which other NFL players were also drafted by baseball teamsWith the last pick of the second round in the 1981 draft, the New York Yankees selected Stanford outfielder John Elway and gave him a $140,000 bonus -- more than No. 1 overall pick Mike Moore received that year. Six picks later, the San Diego Padres selected another college outfielder: future Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn.
I'm told the NFL draft starts tonight, so I thought it would be fun to look back at where some famous NFL players were drafted ... and who their drafting teams could have had.
Elway played one season in the minors, for Class A Oneonta in 1982, hitting .318/.432/.464 with four home runs in 151 at-bats and more walks (28) than strikeouts (25). He'd end up using the leverage of a potential baseball career to demand a trade from the Baltimore Colts after they drafted him first overall in 1983. Was he a legitimate baseball prospect? Probably, although George Steinbrenner's comparisons of Elway to Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle were certainly far-fetched.
