Thread: 7 Prospects Teams Should Avoid in the 1st Round of the Draft

Funny, because I've seen three of these guys (Nkemdiche, Robinson and Whitehair) mocked to us over the last few weeks.

Nkemdiche is clearly a dice roll but so was Warren Sapp who tested positive at the combine. Near the bottom of the first round, it isn't as huge a gamble. The others I tend to agree with.

Nkemdiche and Whitehair should not be on this list.

The were both Denver picks in the two best mocks I've seen.

I wonder if Roby and Ray would be on that list in years past.

I think our locker room would do a lot of good for Nkemdiche, but only Elway knows whether he's worth the risk. Could be a steal at the end of the round.

Exactly. Team interviews will determine if the Broncos think this group of players are kryptonite or can be coached.

I've seen Nkemdiche mock as low as #18 to the Bills.

Whitehair is pretty overrated, he's not a T and he has nothing you look for in a 1st round G.

Agreed, from everything I've read/hear about Nkemdiche he's just a different dude, I think he fits perfectly with this Defense. I know of the Hotel Incident, that's about it, this guy mentions off field issues like he's Pacman Jones.
