Really no surprise. Kubes always looks for the next Terrell Davis / Arian Foster from every draft class.

I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
The old is new? Since when haven't we looked for running backs late in the draft? Josh McDaniels is probably the only one who has ever drafted a running back in Denver earlier than the third round in the last 30 years
rest - http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci...lling-nfl-2016There have been cross-country flights, thousands of hours of college tape, sunrise-to-sunset days with healthy, debate-filled meetings all in preparation for three days at the end of April.
Broncos general manager John Elway and his team of scouts and personnel executives had a short-lived Super Bowl 50 celebration. There wasn't much time to relish the work they had done in building a champion. Draft season was on the horizon.
Elway quickly found out there's no offseason in the front office. That's perfectly fine with him, too. In a way, mid-February through April is just as exciting as September through early February.

THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
Uh, Oh yeah.
Still though, not a single first round back in 30 years and only 3 in the second.
It's hard to believe Montee was once a 2nd round pick. That dude seemed like he had such a good head on his shoulders coming out of college.
I wonder if he suffered brain trauma at some point in the NFL.
