Default CBS Sports reveals 7-round mock draft

    http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/n...-by-team-picks

Here's who Dane Brugler projects for the Broncos (don't kill the messenger):

1/31 Connor Cook, QB Michigan St.
    2/32 Su'a Cravens, LB, USC
3/31 Devontae Booker, RB, Utah (obviously made before Hillman re-signed)
    3/35 Jihad Ward, DL, Illinois
    4/38 Charles Tapper, DE, Oklahoma
5/5 Dominque Robinson, OT, West Georgia
    5/18 Trevor Davis, WR, California
    6/44 Devondre Campbell, LB, Minnesota
7/7 Paul McRoberts, WR, Southeastern Missouri
    7/32 Spencer Drango, OG, Baylor

After Cook, I'm not really a fan of this draft but you can click on the link and then cherry-pick who you want.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

LOL, Elway isn't dumb enough to pick Connor Cook in the first round. Nice try by this guy, though.

3/35 Jihad Ward, DL, Illinois - I bet he is an explosive player.

I really like Cook, Booker, Ward, Davis and Campbell. No thanks to the rest.

If we're taking a wide receiver in the 7th it better be McCaffrey.

I don't think we should pick Dak in the first round either. I'm not really a fan of us going QB in round 1 of this draft. Other than the top 2 guys, they all seem like 2nd-3rd round talents who people will pick in the first because the are quarterbacks.

I agree. To be honest, I'm not so sure any of the QBs in this draft are going to turn out to be franchise guys.

Yeah I'm on the same page. This seems like a class of QBs who all have the physical tools, but the intangibles are totally up in the air and they will probably take a year or two before they are really ready. I just think picking any of them high would be risky. Denver still has a window open to win another title so I'd rather pick a guy in round 1 who can help this year.

That's the problem though, like I said before, Prescott won't drop for his socalled off-field issue because he's a QB. So if you think they're 2nd-3rd rounders you have to take them higher because of the position they play, and even higher because youre drafting at the end of every round.

Having said that, Cook has first round talent.

I'm not so sure that's such a bad thing anymore (not having a franchise guy), considering players like Osweiler get $18 MM/per. Andrew Luck is about to cripple the Colts for a decade.

I never thought I'd say that, but the QB market just went Full Retard.

I think in terms of raw talent Cook, Prescott, and Lynch all have first round ability. But with Cook you have the leadership questions, Dak you have questions how he will transition to a pro style offense, and Lynch is just unknown because he had one breakout year against subpar competition. I get that they will probably all go earlier than they should, but I don't know that I want Denver being the team to do it.
