I'll save you the time. It's a farming community 25 miles north of Meridian.
The current population is similar to where you live. When I wa growing up there in the 70's and 80's the population was 4605.
My summer jobs in high school were:
Thinning cherries, bucking hay, and milking cows at the local dairy farm.
I learned how to shoot a gun before I learned how to ride a bike.

My grandad had about 100 head of cattle. My dad became a school teacher. He passed a love for the outdoors to me, but not so much for farming and ranching.
My grandad was a bit of a work-aholic, a character trait I didn't want to emulate. He not only raised his cattle and a small amout of corn, but he was also a night watchman at the sawmill.
I love the town I grew up in, but there isn't enough work there, and I don't want to commute 45 minutes each way after a 10 hour day
