Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott will visit the Broncos facility Tuesday, per an NFL source.
Prescott, 6-foot-2, 226 pounds, was an athletic playmaker in college throwing for 3,793 yards, 29 TDs and five interceptions while also rushing for 588 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior season. He showed dramatic improvement in throwing mechanics throughout his college career transitioning from a red-zone running quarterback to an accurate pocket passer completing 66.2 percent of his passes by senior season.

Can someone find a highlight film of this kid that isn't him running 80% of the time?

Yea, i dont know if there are any specifically for his passing. Here is one from the senior bowl but nothing really stands out all that much and he still runs 50% of the time in this vid.

You may have seen this one already i dont know (they call it the ultimate highlight). He has a great pass at the 1:50 mark, the rest are to either wide open guys or putting it where the receiver makes the play on the ball. Im not really enamored with him personally but he may be serviceable in this offense.

The hard part about finding a clip with mostly passing highlights is there just arent many of them. He was in a read option offense at MSU...you're going to get a lot of rushing highlights with it.

Which is why its a little strange that Denver is looking so hard at him. They had another guy who ran a similar offense and moved on from him.

He turned heads at senior bowl. Showed he could be a pocket passer.

Even the highlight reels show him throwing from the pocket so im not sure what difference the Senior Bowl made really. I guess i just dont see the hype there.

After the senior bowl he shot up draft boards. It was the practices from what I heard that he turned heads.

Guess we will see how he turns out wherever he lands. Tebow was taken awfully higher than he should have as well.

I get the comparisons to Tebow, but in reality, I see more Russell WIlson in him than I do Tebow.

I have character concerns with Dak. Two years ago he was here in Panama City Beach for spring break and got into a huge fight with other spring breakers. Locals (people I know) who saw the fight blamed Dak and his friends for the fight, Dak of course placed the onus on the other spring breakers. Kids will be kids and we were all stupid once, especially at spring break but the fight coupled with the recent DUI makes me question this kids character and maturity. There are several videos on Youtube of the fight in case anybody is curious. It may turn out to be a non-issue but it's certainly something that should be considered.

Truthfully i dont know how. When Russell finally left college he was listed as the most efficient and accurate passer in college that year. This year Dak is listed 22nd in pass efficiency. I guess we disagree in this case as i see Dak more in the Tebow mold than the Wilson mold.

Im not overly worried about the off the field stuff, only if it plays a part in his professional life.
