Default The Broncos Select Jared Goff (Fanspeak mock draft)

3/27 Fanspeak with "Composite big board"

I have no expectations this will really happen but as this draft started falling, Cal's Jared Goff did too so I stepped up and grabbed him before he could fall any further.

It cost me next year's #1 but it means our QBOTF is in place.

I also traded out of the second to add some more depth.

    18: R1P18
    QB JARED GOFF
    CALIFORNIA

    77: R3P14
    S VONN BELL
    OHIO STATE

    95: R3P32
    RB ALEX COLLINS
    ARKANSAS

    99: R3P36
    TE AUSTIN HOOPER
    STANFORD

    137: R4P38
    CB CYRUS JONES
    ALABAMA

    145: R5P5
    DE SHAWN OAKMAN
    BAYLOR

    154: R5P14
    OLB NICK VIGIL
    UTAH STATE

    165: R5P25
    WR NELSON SPRUCE
    COLORADO

    220: R6P44
    DT ANTWAUN WOODS
    USC

    229: R7P7
    ILB JARED NORRIS
    UTAH

    236: R7P14
    WR BRALON ADDISON
    OREGON

    254: R7P32
    G DENVER KIRKLAND
    ARKANSAS

Totally unrealistic so don't bother telling me so. I didn't help the OL much but I've added good depth pretty much everywhere else, including kick returns (Jones, Addison).

So, could Elway co-exist with a Cal player at QB?

I think that's a pretty good representation of what it would take to get one of those quarterbacks.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I would love for that to happen. 18 seems about right if Goff fell.

And Idgaf if we give up picks to go get our future QB.

That'd be tits, probably in the realm of what it'd take.

Denver might have enoug ammo to get back into the 1st round next year with tradable comp picks.

This time, it was Wentz that fell (Fanspeak 4/5 big board) and I used next year;s #1 to get him from the Falcons.

The rest looks good but not as good as the previous board above. This seems more realistic.

I'd give up a pinkey for that draft.
