Oh, but there we go with facts again so the Scoobois are going to get upset.
He was a first round talent before the injury. Dude was best LB in 2014 in the country. Big reason I would like gim. Elway has drafted players who have slipped due to injury in the past.

3rd round is way too high for Wright, they wouldn't put them thru the combine if those things didn't factor into where he's drafted.

Btw, his "official" time was 4.90, and worse yet, he refused to do the 3-cone.
Combine can always help stock or hurt it. But it is not the end all of the draft. How often due you hear a player evaluated as playing faster on tape then he showed at combine.

Yea, Kyle Boller threw a 70 yd pass at the combine too. You cant put too much stock in the combine stuff.

Still say Collins will be drafted first. I wouldn't consider Wright until the 5th.

I could see Wright being drafted in the 3rd. But hopefully by a team other than us.

    Right now he is projected as going between rounds 2-4. I took him in my mock in the 3rd so thats about right. These are currently the ILB's ranked in front of him;

    15
    ILB
    REGGIE RAGLAND - ALABAMA

    54
    ILB
    KENTRELL BROTHERS - MISSOURI

    82
    ILB
    DOMINIQUE ALEXANDER - OKLAHOMA

    101
    ILB
    TYLER MATAKEVICH - TEMPLE

    115
    ILB
    NICK VIGIL - UTAH STATE

Scooby reminds me of Chris Borland. Not very athletic, but the dude can just ball. Just like Borland, his flaws will need to be covered up and protected so he can be successful. I would love to see him on the Broncos because I think he could get 4-5 sacks a year while playing inside because he is a great blitzer. Not to mention, he is a downhill player and our outside line backers are good enough so that he won't have to be a sideline to sideline player. It seems like a perfect fit to me. 3rd round would be a great spot to snag him.

Collins is project 4th ish. I am seeing mocks with him going in 5th. NFLN draft has him going to us in early 5th.

Understatement of the century! That's almost like a prerequisite now.

The more I see, the more I like Keith Marshall from Georgia. We need a speed back to compliment CJ. Marshall provides that in spades and is close to 220 lbs. Marshall over Collins and he could be drafted in the 4th or 5th round with one of the comp picks.

The Broncos taking an underrated running back from Georgia on the last day of the draft? Nah. Never happen .
