yeah, they are going to play coachella and some Vegas shows... I seen GNR when they were big, they weren't that great. I couldnt imagine they would be better in their 60's

Malcolm Young was such a huge part of that band - retired due to dementia. Their drummer is likely headed to jail - they might as well call it Angus and friends at this point.

Johnson's always seemed like a good dude. Shame he's going deaf. Getting old sucks.

I think that's actually kind of cool. Axl - while being way past his prime and a first class ******* - is still one of the iconic front men of the last couple decades.

**** that. It's a train wreck, a sad-sack Hail Mary to keep a once great band on life support. Yes I said great.

Malcolm Young is one of the great rhythm guitar players. Incredibly compact and accurate and a knack for perfect riffs played with minimal fanfare. It's not easy to play those riffs the way he does. Never mind he's the band founder as I understand it and the brother of the lead guitarist.

So you lose the very foundation of that band but still have the singer and your showpiece guitar player, who while also iconic, was more influential in image than to songwriting. Ok, I guess with a competent Malcolm replacement maybe only guitar geeks will notice and the show can go on.

Then they lose their also now unmistakable singer of nearly 40 years and attempt to hang on with...Axl Rose? Cmon. That's terrible.
