Marcus Mariota looked good as a rookie last year from a spread offense school. It can happen.

Just to clarify, I don't like Prescott or the style of qb that he is.
The fact that his three cone drill is so average I am fairly convinced he will be another JaMarcus Russell.
Not at all, however, his college experience did nothing to prepare him for the Pro's and I'm not a big fan of spending a premium pick on a project with intangibles. Personally, I wouldn't even bother unless the player is a special talent, like Newton. If Denver were running a similar system I may think differently, I'd also be playing a lot more golf.
As for Hoof's point, a spread QB is a spread QB, you're either pregnant or you're not.
