    Default Good restaurants in Seattle

I am heading out to Seattle for business. Any ideas on where I should eat. I pretty much like everything, so what is your recommendation. I went to Ivars and The Crab Pot last time. The first day my flight gets in around 6pm PST, so I can go anywhere between Seatac and downtown. 2nd day I will be downtown all day.

    TIA

I don't know where it is but if I ever go to Seattle I want to hit up Din Tai Fung. Have to give them soup dumplings a try.

You could always try a Seattle dog... disgusting as it sounds.

I haven't been to Seattle yet. However, on all my trips I have found the website for Diners, Drive ins, and Dives to be quite useful as they have some good eats in every major city. They've got six places in Seattle.

I like spaghetti factory in down top. The crab pot is good. So many good seafood places.

Be careful. Now that Seattle is one of those "living wage" cities, restaurants are folding right and left rather than paying their servers and busboys $15/hr. (I think it's $11 now but will rise again soon).
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I ate fish and chips at Etta's right near Pike Place. It was delicious.

I don't think you can go wrong anywhere downtown tbh. Everywhere I ate there was real good.

I stayed at a hostel right across from Pike Place, so I got a lot of exercise in that area. Get you some Cow Chip Cookies.

if you're not careful, you may accidentally pay your server a fair wage. . .

    Forgot to update.

So I have been to Ivars, the Brooklyn (great food) the crab pot (ok I guess). Taylor's Shellfish (great oysters).

I think I have one more trip planned so it will plan to hit pikes market, and see the space needle.

Ola - you really should be planning your trips working backwards from a low minimum wage.

Might I suggest Wyoming? The restaurants are bound to be a lot better.

I think out of the places I went, only Ivars had the blurb about not having to tip. It was on the menu.

Wyoming is out of the question. I don't even think they have roads to build out there. No roads...no travel.
