I don't think anyone is debating that he is a really good player when he's healthy, I think the debate is over if he should be paid like a #1 RB when he can't stay on the field half the time. I think we'd all love him to stay at the right price, but he's not a guy we should overpay for IMO.

Maybe they went with a lower tender thinking that less money means he's not chronically overweight.
