The Chargers get out of the gates first!

I think two LA teams is a bad idea. Yeah, it's a massive market, but they had two teams before...

That area doesn't support NFL teams when they're not great. It's like Miami, but worse. To this day they still believe the Trojans are their NFL team.

With TV contracts the way they are, does attendance matter in this day and age? They're already relaxing blackout rules, I bet they relax them even more.

I think it's a better idea now, especially with a new stadium, than it was 30 years ago.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Just read that the Rams and raiders also put their names in the hat. Funny, I thought the Rams owner wanted to stay put?

The t.v. contracts might not be as strong as we think; they are predicated upon cable television subscribers, and we are starting to see cable companies slowly lose subscribers due to things like Netflix, HBO Go, etc.

Then again, that might be a problem too far down the road for it to be a viable disagreement with you.

St Louis would be a much nicer looking city without that horrific dome in the middle of downtown. The baseball stadium they have is maybe the most beautiful stadium in the world, but the football stadium might be one of the ugliest structures in America.

St Louis would be a much better looking place if East St Louis disappeared, they spent a few hundred million dollars on renovating downtown, redeveloped their waterfront, and burned down everything else.

The Astrodome is by far more hideous.

The Astrodome was built before the dangers of asbestos were known. The cost to safely tear down is $60-$90 million depending who you ask. It is also close to classification as a historic structure which would make it even harder to tear down. It is the world's first domed stadium.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Most Angelenos think football is played with a round ball and that Mexico is their national team.

Lets just hope to goodness they dont go and ruin LA football by putting it in a stupid dome. The good thing about st louis rams moving is its one less dome team in the nfl
