A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge. --Tyrion Lannister, from George R.R. Martin's A Game of ThronesEverybody has a preference. Some guys like them round. Some guys like them thin. Some guys like them tacky. Some guys like them brand new. Some guys like old balls. --Tom Brady
Well that sucks. I won't be able to do my San Diego jokes.
The Chargers get out of the gates first!
I think two LA teams is a bad idea. Yeah, it's a massive market, but they had two teams before...

Just read that the Rams and raiders also put their names in the hat. Funny, I thought the Rams owner wanted to stay put?

The t.v. contracts might not be as strong as we think; they are predicated upon cable television subscribers, and we are starting to see cable companies slowly lose subscribers due to things like Netflix, HBO Go, etc.
Then again, that might be a problem too far down the road for it to be a viable disagreement with you.
St Louis would be a much nicer looking city without that horrific dome in the middle of downtown. The baseball stadium they have is maybe the most beautiful stadium in the world, but the football stadium might be one of the ugliest structures in America.
The Astrodome was built before the dangers of asbestos were known. The cost to safely tear down is $60-$90 million depending who you ask. It is also close to classification as a historic structure which would make it even harder to tear down. It is the world's first domed stadium.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Most Angelenos think football is played with a round ball and that Mexico is their national team.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Lets just hope to goodness they dont go and ruin LA football by putting it in a stupid dome. The good thing about st louis rams moving is its one less dome team in the nfl
