He is our best tight end, and is rightfully getting the most snaps.

He was absolutely on fire last night. Best he's looked as a Bronco.

Still want to see Virgil Greene more involved. Kubiak seems to be as adverse to playing him as he does CJ though.

Brilliant thread. I salute your decision to start this thread in honor of that most under-appreciated 2015 Bronco hero, Owen Daniels...who, I might add, has been a clear upgrade at the TE position over that baby-soft predecessor Julius Thomas this year.

Note too that more reps to Daniels, and more targets to Daniels in key 4th Q situations, helped lead us to Victory. We can only wonder what would have happened in the OAK and Pitt games had it been OD on the field rather than useless Vernon Davis. I'm thinking 13-2.

I hate parsing games down to one or two individual plays but based on the magnitude of those being 3rd and 4th down plays that would have picked up major yardage and basically put us in position to win both games, I'd have to agree.
    Go Broncos!

Personally I hate anti alligator armed, fearless over the middle, tough, smart, good blocking TE's because they can't run a 4.5 40.

So we had to wait 15 weeks for him to have a good game?

He's played much better since they threatened his job by trading for Vernon Davis.

Lol this was not his first good game. Nice #hottake though.

Don't understand why you wouldn't play Virgil in addition to Daniels though. Both seem more than capable.

I know. That's why I followed it up with the second sentence. He was absolute shit for eight weeks, had his job threatened and started to play much better. Last night was by far his best game. He and Osweiler basically won the game.

Gotta give DT some love as well. Came up huge in the clutch as well. That one handed 3rd down grab with the DB draped all over him was ridiculous. I can't believe some people on here were advocating getting rid of him after the past couple weeks leading up to the Bengals game.
