Not having Paul and Griffin the last 3 games has alot to do with it, but hey they still won. I hate to say it but the Curryless warriors will beat them soundly. I will be rooting for the upset of course. Until they get to my Spurs. Then the secret affair is over.
You wont get much hate from me. Aside from loving UVA and have a soft spot for Wake Forest and loved watching Timmy D and Randolph Childress in college and then of course watching Duncan in the pro's has been a pleasure. He's an easy guy to root for.

So the Grizzlies fired Dave Joeger today. That's definitely a head scratcher. He probably did one of the best coaching jobs in the nba this season. The only way this makes sense is if Memphis is just planning on totally blowing things up and starting over, and they don't want a coach who will squeeze extra wins out of a bad team and hurt their lottery chances.

Guess this is the end of an era in Memphis, but it was a ton of fun to enjoy it while it lasted.

Sounds new the word is they are trying to hire Frank Vogel. That makes no sense. Why fire Joeger if you're just going to make a lateral move to replace him? There must be some stuff going on behind the scenes we aren't aware of. I know there was some tension between Joeger and the organization a couple of years back so maybe it has something to do with that.

So I guess D-Wade thinks it's okay to shoot hoops during a national anthem. I think it's against NBA rules.

Wow I knew the Thunder were due to take it to the next level sometime soon, just didn't think it would happen vs my Spurs. They finally put it all together and overwhelmed a great but old team. I hope they give the sunny state golden boy brady bunch a run for their money.

OKC out shot the Spurs both from 2pt and 3pt range, went to the line more, out rebounded, more fastbreak points, more blocks. They played great. I hope they keep it up. I'll be rooting for them.

Here's the local newspaper's Sports page today.

Steven Adams took advantage of the Spurs big guys.

Roberson has really been playing well as of late.

I worry about how he matches up with GS though. They might have to play Waiters more and go smaller. . .

GS probably can't defend us very well when we go big, but we have no chance at all defending them when we go big. There will be a lot of points scored this series, and that's my only prediction.

I am interested to see what Donovan does. I have been impressed with some of his adjustments and changes here in the playoffs. We have beaten the two best coaches in the league, bar-none. Now we have to play the most talented team, and Steve Kerr is no slouch.

NTL, I owe you an apology. I thought the Spurs were going to style on you. They only did in one game. I am sorry for the doubt.

I don't think Thunder fans will let you on the bandwagon like the Bronco fans did.
