I downloaded a few Limp Bizkit songs on Napster back in the day on my 56k modem connection.

They had some fun songs, but they are just that.

I remember when Metallica was beginning their efforts to shut down Napster, and I was on the side of the argument that I bought more music after finding it on Napster than otherwise. .. but then I realized that Limp Bizkit and some others totally blew my argument up. .. .No way did I ever even consider spending realy $$ on Limp Bizkit's music. But I enjoyed it for free!

LB is from Jax. Cool story coming up. Like a modern Lynard Skynard.

Sounds like he's way too full of himself, especially for a bassist.

I tried staying out of this debate but got sucked in....

Saw them live in the 90s. Amazing. The crowd was so electric and full of energy. You can hear the anger in Zac Dela Rocha and Tom Morello is one of the best guitarist ever. Period. Most people that don't like RATM probably don't like the mix of metal and rap. They have their own style that's for sure.

The bassist is 100% correct because Limp Bizkit was terrible. They had maybe 2-3 hits while Rage put out hit after hit after hit. Their whole albums were good. I don't know how anyone could say Limp is better than Rage with a straight face.

On the flip side, when I was in my 20s I didn't really pay much attention to their lyrics or what they stood for as a band. Alot of their songs are very un-American, anti-police ect. I get the bands passion but they channel negatively towards the Country I love....so I quit supporting them long ago.

But damb their music was catchy and made you want to punch a baby.
