No its not. You were trying to imply that a good RB cant have a good day vs a good defense and i proved that there was a hole in your stance. A better argument for why Gore struggled would of been that the team fell behind and had to pass to get back in it. Frankly, im not even sure why you felt the need to make the snarky comment to begin with.

It was Gore's first game with a new team and a new offense that struggled mightily and played from behind most of the game which generally negates any run game success. Comparing that scenario to a HOF back in the Super Bowl is dumb.

My initial comment about him playing Buffalo wasn't "snarky". It was an observation that they played one of the best defenses in football and should come as no surprise that he had a bad day.

Judging by your post, you obviously understood the gist of my point, but chose to make a stupid comment instead.

Frank Gore is old and worn out. Ball can't be much worse.

This is the same GM who traded a first rounder to acquire Trent Richardson - after it was obvious Richardson couldn't play. Then got into a bidding war for Frank Gore. He might be the worst evaluator of RBs in the entire league.

JFE isn't far behind by that measure. It's true even though I love what he's done overall.

Lol, he should ask shannahan his opinion because he was a good evaluator of that position

In fairness, he pulled a pro bowler out of his ass last year and deserves credit for that, even if Ball over Lacy is deserving of our scorn.

Agreed, why get into a bidding war over running back with as much mileage on his body as Frank Gore has.

The #Patriots worked out former #Broncos RB Monte Ball today, source said.

They'll probably turn him into a pro bowler ...

If he makes the team he will probably have an axe to grind. But, he does have Blount and the new guy in front of him.
