I'd probably take a mediocre kicker going for 1 over Denver's 2020 O going for 2. Denver '96-'98 Os, that would be a completely different story

I also loved the Tennessee example. They have the perfect offense to go for two. Great power RB in Henry, above average running QB in Tannehill, and a big WR in Brown who can win jump balls. They just have so many ways to attack you in short yardage. I'm a big fan of their offense.

I just took a quick look at their stat lines:

(Mods, could 1 of you embed this chart for me, I have no idea how several other here are able to do it.)

Their O was 4th in scoring & 2 in yards, yet they were 30th in passing attempts. In spite the insistence of most that today's NFL is a passing league, they emassed far more points & yards then most pass happy Os by being 2nd in all rushing categories. Their D on the other hand, especially against the pass, is horrible and the reason they can't make it to the SB.

Who was #1 in rushing attempts, yards, and ypc? Another playoff team with legitimate SB aspirations, the Ravens, who were also last in passing attempts and yards. However, their D wasn't nearly as bad:
