Finally the season is here.

It would be nice to see a repeat of the season opener from 2 years ago.

Im going to my in laws tomorrow for Missy's dad's birthday. Going to have some crabs and watch some football. I just feel sorry for the in laws because the Broncos will beat the Ravens tomorrow for his birthday. Sorry Gary.

Am I the only one worried about this game? The offense is very much a work in progress and that's a pretty tough defense to play against. Kubiak also left them in good shape on the offensive side of the ball from last year. I think the Ravens are balanced and will be a top contender this year.

I'd like to see Manning come out and look like his old (even early 2014) self to put my mind at ease. Then again, September is usually Manning's best month before the rigors of a season take effect. I'd be more worried if this game was in Baltimore, but I think we win a close one.

So stoked to have football back! Let's do this!

Defense comes out and shows everybody how good they will be. Offense is a work in progress.

31-13 Denver. The Ravens lone TD comes on special teams. Our defense suffocates the Ravens. Flacco cries and is caught doing his Phillip Rivers impression.

Ravens are a worthy team but if the preseason was any indication our defense is going to be very nasty. As long as we dont turn the ball over i think we can dominate anyone.

Joe Flacco week one 2014: Loss 35-62 1 TD 1 INT
Joe Flacco week one 2013: Loss 34-62 2 TD 2 INT

Not too sharp coming out of the gate. That being said I predict he will go 62-62 with 786 yards and 9 TDs.

The long wait is over. Meaningful football is back.
