As I mentioned, myself personally I just have little interest in wading through a huge thread to find new news. I want new news to be a new thread. Merge it later if you want.

If I come here looking for something and it is all in one thread, I go elsewhere to read it where it feels like news. I don't want to read a book, I want a headline and quick article.

As it was mentioned, the mods are simply following the rules that the board decided on, I must have missed the poll on merging all like threads into a conglomerate. When did that vote happen?
