One thing that helps MSU is that they have their backups a BUNCH of playing time last year, so they have experience. Like, they would rotate their entire second 11 into games quite often. So while they did lose a lot, they still have more experience than some might think. I'm a homer here for sure, but I think MSU is being a bit underrated heading into the season. Having said that, I wouldn't have it any other way.
One more thing on MSU, all 24 of their starters this year are juniors and seniors. So they certainly have plenty of experienced players still in the fold.
So, it's game day.
Buff, you staying up late night?
MO - are the times you posted Central Timezone?
Is the Buffs game tonight or tomorrow? Midnight games can be confusing.
Yes and I'm not happy about it. The college football I came to know and love 15 years ago doesn't exist anymore. It's jumped the shark in so many ways I almost am completely indifferent. It doesn't help that the Buffs have been horrendous for almost 10 years now - but I could list 30 other reasons why it's an inferior product. An 11pm regular season kickoff? Kiss my ass. I'd rather not be on nat'l tv.
More to the point - year 3 of Coach MM. We desperately need to capitalize on our easy non-conference schedule and actually make a bowl game this year.
Sorry. I'll stop trolling you. I have to go to work, and I love the start time...
