Notre Dame plays half an ACC schedule but they don't count in the ACC standings and are still considered independents. If the Power 5 ever condensed to 4 Super Conferences, Notre Dame is going to have to pick one and play by the same rules as everyone else.

They seem to have enough clout where that is not the case. Their independence has now survived the BCS and the Playoff era.

As much of a rival as they are, I probably wouldn't mind Alabama winning if it wasn't for Kiffin.

Have to commend the Big 12 for requiring their schools to schedule better opponents. Good job Bowlsby.
