Man, bad news. My rich cousin who typically hosts the tailgate is apparently going to be spending the next 2 months fixing up his place in Florida. But all is not lost - my other friend usually hosts a tailgate too, so I'll see what's up with his.

Yes and I'm not happy about it. The college football I came to know and love 15 years ago doesn't exist anymore. It's jumped the shark in so many ways I almost am completely indifferent. No doubt. Mississippi State's opener this weekend is at 10 PM. Screw that noise. It's nonsense to schedule games that start that late.

I have a few people from Wisconsin on Facebook. One guy said "At the Minnesota game and they ran out of beer, this would never happen in Wisconsin."

Checked out the scores. Awesome stuff. The teams I like seemed to do well. Western Kentucky best Vanderbilt in Nashville. Duke dominated Tulane at home.

That really is a shitty way to lose. Hawaii's nose tackle knocks the ball away from the ref and the ref fumbles it and can't get it set.
