Thanks, BroJoe. I'm glad you're back to being serious again.

My dad had one when we were kids. I think he bought it so that when we went out, my sister and I had to sit in back and he'd have my mom to himself. Quiet time for them.

I posted this before in some other thread, but this was my first car. Took me and my cousin from Denver to Milwaukee, on to Muskegon MI via car trolly, then through Canada (on Hwy 2 along the coast of Lake Michigan) then south through the Dakotas, Nebraska and part of Wyoming before coming home. This car was a champ.

I was 16, my first car was the most gutless POS ever....a Chrysler Laser. It lasted about 5 months before I t-boned a dodge intrepid while racing my friend to his house. Best thing that ever happened, I didn't have to drive it any more and insurance check was like $500 more than what a paid for it.

Best car? My current S10 pickup. Total hoss of a pickup.

I actually love my current car. 2001 Saab 95 Turbo. 150k miles, still runs like a champ. Still old enough that I can work on a lot of stuff, but new enough to have some creature comforts.

    Take notice, TJR!!

That looks a lot like my first car, but it was orange, the 75 Datsun b210.

How much did it cost you to get this photo regenerated in color?
