    no, the ground in the area around the river has a red mineral in it and when it rains hard the river picks it up and flows downstream. It's a beautiful area, actually a UNESCO site.

    Unfortunately, this National park has just had an evacuation order as the fire has reached it and its out of control. This park is North of the Glacier park in Montana

    The northwest is burning. We need rain. I have never seen this much smoke in the valley here, and it's been here for several weeks.

    yeah it's been bad since end of June, at least it cuts the direct heat from the sun down I guess

    that doesn't look too bad man, pictures usually don't show how bad it is though. I just wonder what kind of damage all this smoke and ash is doing to us though. Every morning I get into my truck there is a new layer of ash on it, we're definitely breathing that in.

    That doesn't look too bad? That's a picture of the sun. There's no cloud cover. The sky should be blue, not gray

    It sounds like you have it worst though. I don't have ash on my truck.

    They're canceling all outdoor activities in the schools this week
