Yeah, I would assume IF he's healthy enough to start, that he would be the LT with Sambrailo moving back to RT. They drafted Sambrailo with the plan of him being a RT this year until the Clady injury. If they can put a solid veteran on the left side, that would take pressure off of the rookie.
ahh, chazzy. . .
i thought about it, and had to let the low-hanging fruit go for once. . . not surprised to see some other jackal promptly come along and clean it up, though. . .
i would've at least added, "don't get cocky-- there's still plenty of hours left in this here day". . .
Jake Long played a season in a ZBS in college and going back to that might conceivably take pressure off that knee, less drive blocking and maybe drop 20lbs.
I think Sambrailo is a G and would rather see Clark play RT.
LT-- Long
LG-- Sambrailo
C--- Paradis
RG-- Vasquez
RT-- Clark
That'd be a lot more appealing to me but I think Denver wants as many young guys in the lineup as possible. Maybe Sambrailo or Schofeild at RT with the other playing LG.
As long as Smith and Gradkowski are on the bench or gone I'd feel better, not real excited about Garland either.

3rd round— Will Shipley RB

5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
6th round— Cash Jones RB
7th round— Carson Steele RB
I'd be ok with them trying to work the rookies into the lineup gradually, I just want to see an alternate plan to start the season. Then if it works out, fine, let Ben Garland and Sambrailo and Paradis and Schofield EARN a spot ahead of veterans - but they'd have to earn it in a backup role first, instead of Elway just throwing them in there never having started an NFL game before.
Let them get some experience in the pre-season, but . . .
Chaz and Dog, you're DTM.

In this version of "offensive line roulette" (a game we love to play in these threads), I would go with Long/Schofield/Gradkowski/Vasquez/Sambrailo but that's just me. Clark could backup either tackle spot and I assume we'd keep Garland, Smith and Garcia as the other backups. I don't love Gradkowski, but I think they see him as a starter in any configuration at this point. Not sure if Paradis makes the cut.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
