Yes, the pcv (positive crankcase ventilation) valve is where your crankcase vents. Vacuum is applied and opens the pcv which then allows oil vapor and other engine vapors to get sucked back into the combustion process and burned. The problem with this is excess vapors will cause carbon to form at places in your motor. If you place a catch can it will trap a LOT of the vapors before they make it to your motor and then you must empty the can at each oil change.

You'll be surprised how much oil you get.

I had one on an 02 Tacoma, with a k&n filter as well. It was a quad cab 4x4 with the 3.4. That thing got 22 mpg around town after the modifications were made.

It makes a big difference. Both in efficiency and longevity.

I kind of want to get a hardcore rally car. Something to race Baja 1000 style, or maybe tear ass through the woods on a mountain dirt road. Something just asking to be flipped. Turret on roof with medium caliber a bonus.

Davii and I have the same hair plan. I invested in an $80 pair of clippers. It takes my wife 10 minutes now to cut my hair

It sounds like you have a nice car. When the exhaust system starts to go you can think about it.
