There aren't any PG's as good as Lawson in next years draft, that can't hurt his stock.

The weed. The lack of leadership. The penchant for night clubs. The lack of give of damn.

All of these things is why that doesn't really balance out his value.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

as much of a knucklehead as he is if his value is that low I think it might be interesting to try and pair he and Emmanuel in the backcourt this season

I don't know anything about Mudiay's game, other than position. The ESPN article talked about explosiveness attacking the rim, which would be a step up from Lawson, but I don't know anything about his shot. If he can't shoot that well, playing him with Lawson might compound the problem that is Lawson's shitty jump shot.

Extremely. I thought the Nuggets would have to trade up to the Knicks spot for Mudiay and give up a ton. Possible franchise player. How can you not be happy?

very much so. . . now we just need to clear out that dumb chucklehead lawson, and maybe just maybe the ol' woebegotten nuggies might actually have a chance to start fresh and build something decent. . .

and you know the very best part? with the right to exchange first round picks with the knicks next year sitting in our back pocket, there's no question of intentionally tanking next year to add more talent. . . malone can come in all guns firing from day one to establish a winning culture. . .

just gotta get rid of lawson. . . and faried if we can, but i honestly wouldn't hate letting malone take a crack at trying to get him to play some D. . . he has all the skills, he just needs to want it the way he does on the glass. . . malone got through to cousins, maybe he can do work with some of our slugs here. . . hopefully management is ready to make them be gone if he can't, though. . .

You wanna start all guns a firing and establish a winning culture from day? Get rid of Lawson and The Minimal, take what you can get.

Cutting them outright would actually send an even bigger message to the players, imo, "if you act like these two you become more valuable to this franchise by leaving".

What has Faried done to draw ire?

He doesn't do dumb shit off the court, but on the court if he's one of the top two options on offense for Denver, Denver is going to suck. Plus, other than rebounding, his defense is pretty atrocious.

He's a great energy guy and its fun to watch him take alley-oops, but think of the Clippers. They didn't start winning until they shook the idea that they had to be Lob City and brought on the idea they had to have all-around games to win. Lawson and Faried don't want to do either. They want to be Lob City and they aren't as talented as Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.
