So my choice would be WCS, but this is who I think the Nuggets end up drafting if they stay at 7.

Video won't play for me. Who is it?
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    It begins.

Denver is looking at moving down, keeping the pieces and adding mediocre talent.

Mario Hezonja. Cockiest kid in the draft, and a very good friend of Nurkic.

Won't happen. Connely knows it's his last chance to make a splash as Nugget's GM.

I'll believe it when I finally see it.

WCS inconsistency scares me. And pleeeeeeze with the Deke as a great defender line. He was a fantastic shot blocker who got owned by the greats of his generation.

    I like Mario and mudiay.

Mutombo was a great defender who got owned by no one. The 8 years that he was named either first or second team all NBA defender was no fluke. Neither was being named Defensive Player of the Year 4 times. Either you're too young to have watched his career, or you just want to start an ignorant argument. Either way, I'm not going down that road. Have a nice day.

Why would this be his last chance? It feels more like his first chance.

Lol! Karl reportedly wants to trade cousins for Lawson, but management won't let him. . .

nope and nope. He was an amazing shot blocker and a decent defender. The dream was a far better all around defender than deke. Sorry it is the truth. Look at his head to head stats vs dream, david robinson, Ewing, Mourning and Shaq. They all fared very well against him. I like Deke. Im a life long Nuggets fan but I also know the league has always placed to much emphasis on shot blocking as the end all be all of defensive basketball. My family was lucky enough to get to spend quite a bit of time around the Spurs. David Robinson once told my Dad when they were at the Aspen Basketball academy together that he got a kick out of Deke because he knew heads up that he would always drop 40 or so on Dikembe but Deke would continue wagging that finger. No need to be so defensive Zig. He was good and perhaps playing in the best era ever for centers in the league has given me a slightly jaded view but the stats dont lie. He as a great defender never shut down the great centers of his era and at the end of the day defense starts and ends with the ability to negate the man you are guarding

Just read Kurt Streeter's feature over at ESPN on Mudiay. I'll take him or Justise. Thanks.

The latest rumor is that the Nuggets are talking to the Knicks about the 4th pick for Nurkic and the 7th pick. I think the target there would be Mudiay.
