It’s always advantageous to get more guys through the cut but it all comes down to points. If you have four top five guys but someone missed the cut, you could still stand to make a bunch of money. The course is playing so hard and there’s so few birdies available (biggest point getter, along with eagles), it’s hard to tell what’s going to happen this week.
Likewise, you could get 6/6 through and they all finish out of the Top 25 or worse and not cash.
