    Tough MLB day.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Lost everything but $10 in a head to head. Bad week for me all around.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

That seems to be the consensus on some of the fantasy shows I listen to... Had some strange things go down like Travis Benjamin and Manziel hooking up for two scores... I think I got lucky that somebody put my onto Larry Fitz earlier in the week, plus was on A. Brown and Edelman. The rest of my picks this week were pretty meh. I thought Marshawn was going to be a much better play. Not sure what to make of the Saints and Eagles.

I like Price and Gio - may go down to Keuchel for savings but his last start was so bad.

I feel like Abreu and Rizzo are both must-starts at 1B, so will be hard to decide there. I think I want some exposure to the Rockies tonight as well going against Burnett at Coors. Will be stacking the White Sox righties against Wolf.

Also, Samrdizja throws a complete game shutout today - but gives up 18 runs when I play him as a contrarian play. Eff him.

I liked both guys in that game, but Draftkings didn't allow anyone to use that game.

Yeah, you would have had to play an all day slate, so he was never an option... But just typical that my narrative pays off in the game after I start him.

I toyed with using Erik Johnson in my fantasy playoffs as a streamer today because the Tigers have been woeful against righties lately. Too risky though.

    2B - L. Forsythe
    3B - A. Ramirez
    SS - D. Castro
    OF - S. Marte
    OF - T. Pham
    OF - A. Garcia

I'm tempted to sign up and draft every player competing against the Broncos because I can be such a jinx when I have money on the line. I may lose the money but, hey, Broncos win!
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Jhoulys Chacin and Nick Ahmed put me in the money last night.

Sort of related, the Nick Folk meaningless FG put me in the $$ in the Fan Duel millionaire maker last night after I'd resigned myself to losing. Had a good baseball night as well. Here is my first stab at tonight:

    P - G. Gonzalez
    P - D. Salazar
    C - F. Cervelli
    1B - J. Bour
    2B - J. Harrison
    3B - K. Seager
    SS - T. Saladino
    OF - S. Marte
    OF - M. Morse
    OF - J. Ruggiano

Gonna target Mariners lefties against Guthrie and the Pirates at Coors again. Also like Mets and Marlins lefties.

I started Alvarez last night, lefty vs. Gray, he did nothing and then was pulled in the sixth. Apparently they like to do that with the lead, so I'm not drafting him again this year.

Went against my don't bet on your team rule once so far when I stacked the Royals and got burned, so I don't ever use them or their opponent now. I try to do that in football too.

Alvarez will basically get you 14 points for a HR or 0. He's killed me a few times this year. That's one of the dangers of playing some platoon specialists, if the starter gets run early, they might get pinch hit for and miss a couple at bats.

I've gotten pretty good at detaching my fandom from fantasy - but it's especially hard in fantasy baseball when Coors is always such an appealing play.

I like that late quarter arcade because I get to watch the games. I'm getting to know the Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Giants. Padres and Mariners quite well.
