Aj- i have this gut feeling that he does really well in a shootout against the chargers. Problem is I also have a feeling that many other people will take him too. Chargers have solid corners but they are all small. AJ will out jump them all.

I mean, AJ for sure if we're talking millionaire maker - he has a much higher ceiling, and arguably a higher floor as well. But he's $1100 more expensive for a reason and will definitely be higher owned. I think Marshall is a solid play as well with his 9 targets last week and will be lower owned, but I like him more for cash games because I don't see him having that big game potential that AJ has.

I am really struggling with Arrieta's price tonight... Especially with Price sitting there for cheaper going against the putrid Braves. Was also considering Peavy as my #2, but then I picture Votto w/ the L/R matchup and it makes me nervous. Here's what I have so far:

Yeah, the Phillies will roll out anybody with a pulse these days. I stacked the Nats against Buchanan last night because he'd been awful and nobody did shit besides Harper.

I like the Dbacks lefties against Cashner too. And the Twins righties against any lefty. And the Astros against a lefty who doesn't strike people out in a hitters park. I also think AJ Burnett will get beat up by the Cubs, and really like Schwarber, but there are too many damn bats to get in tonight and all the decent pitching is expensive. Tough roster construction day.
