Ok. That answers my question. I should just asked what genre it was.

50+ hours to beat the game? So with kids and work and life happeneing, that's a good 2 months to beat it.

So is this game in anyway related to wasteland which was an old apple 2e turn based rpg. I know there is a console series that has something to do with wasteland, but to lazy to google it.

I disliked FO3. Game moved at too slow a pace for me, and the RPG elements were not in the same enthralling vein as say Mass Effect, Dragon Age or FF. I found it too tedious and boring. idk...

It an rpg, and I'm sure fallout 4 will be massive, so 50+ hours to beat if you screw around with side quests.
Its basically a post-apocalyptic Elder Scrolls game with guns instead of swords. I can put a hundred hours into those game just by screwing around.

Yup. It sure is. Wasteland was basically foundation for fallout 1 & 2 in the late 90s.

Think my fallout 3 game with the expansions is at like 175 hours or so lol.

With Bioware rpgs like KOTOR, Mass Effect and Dragon Age being the exception I agree.

I just wish Square would get their shit together. The last Final Fantasy I played which was XIII was a mess until the end. The battle system didn't make sense until I was at the last boss and at that point the whole game felt very linear. I wish they would go back to epic, open world fantasy RPGs or just give us an HD remake of Final Fantasy VII. VI and VII are still my favorites to this day.
